Online Learning Registration

To register for online learning, please follow these steps.

1. Print and fill out the Online Course Registration Form.

2. Mail the completed form along with a check payable to RADACT for the amount of your course shown above.

Once RADACT receives your Online Course Registration Form and your check for the course, RADACT will email your personal password number and the website address to access the course to you.

When you sign in to the online course the first time, you will need your name as you filled it out on the Online Course Registration Form and the password number you recieved in the email.

Once you are logged in to the course, you will find instructions to complete the course.

Pharmacotherapies in Behavioral Health – Oral Naltrexone will provide information on oral naltrexone and its efficacy in the treatment for alcohol use disorders (AUDs).
Students will be provided with the following information regarding oral naltrexone: pharmacology, “black box” warning, dosage, side effects, contraindications, adverse reactions, drug interactions, and patient management.
Students will develop a basic understanding of how pharmacotherapy can augment treatment by lessening cravings and urges to drink and use drugs.

Students will be provided with the following information regarding extended-release injectable naltrexone – Vivitrol:

Introduction to DSM Practice
Introduction to DSM Practice will provide information about the philosophical and practice basis for evaluating behavioral health disorders using criteria contained in the DSM-lV. Application exercises will provide examples for practicing comprehensive use of the DSM Axis l – V.

Confidentiality
Confidentiality will provide information on the federal requirements of 42 CFR part 2, and HIPAA regarding client confidentiality and protection of client confidential information in behavioral health counseling. Students will discuss handling various confidential issues that may arise in the behavioral health field.

Co-Occurring Disorders
disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, phobic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, and thought disorders. Students will develop a basic understanding of how mental health disorders, substance use and addiction disorders, and other related conditions can exist in combination and how they affect treatment service. Students will also receive information about potential causes and origins of these disorders, along with client perspectives of symptoms and limitations. Applied exercises will help students practice their developing skills associated with identifying and describing these disorders.
